Abstract
This application is intended to reduce the time spent on sending e-notes to various clients across the globe. E-notification is an application which is used to send notification to clients across globe during events such as service pack upgrades, patching and rebooting. This notification is to make the client aware that there will be some down time during this process, and the particular client will not be able to access the application. Types of E-notifications, 1. Schedule Soarian e-note: two weeks prior to the occurrence of the event. 2. Reminder Soarian e-note: one week before the event occurs. 3. Outage started Soarian enote: 5 minutes before the starting of the event. 4. Outage completed Soarian enote: after completion of the event. 5. Cancel Soarian e-note: If any error occurs or canceled as per client request. In the existing system the associate has to create Enotification based on the type of Soarian enote and create a subject line and body for every client. Along with this, the Cerner associate has to check the time off the event occurrence as well as add the customer id for every customer. At the body of the Soarian enote the associate has to add the required verbiage. Since E-notes are sent to large hospital clients this process has to be done multiple times. If e-notes could be sent with less steps and with a default template for every type of Soarian enote the time spent on sending the Enotification can be reduced.
