| dc.description.abstract | Switched impedance Z-source inverter has the ability to perform dc- ac power conversion with a higher boost factor when compared to basic Z-source inverter. The project present a novel method of generating modified carrier based PWM control pulses for switched impedance source inverter using an ultra-low power microcontroller unit MSP430FG4618. This approach ensure reduced power usage by the control unit meanwhile maintaining higher boost factor a minimal shoot through period. | en_US |
