The basic principal of working of solar still is “Solar energy heats water, evaporates it (salts and microbes left behind), and condenses as clouds to return to earth as rainwater”. •To increase the rate of condensation and the overall efficiency of the still a Thermo-electric cooler is fixed to the glass enclosure of the still. •The still is placed under the Fresnel Lens to concentrate the sun rays inside the still to attain rapid evaporation.en_US
