Abstract
This Research deals with “A Study on Effectiveness of Monetary and Non-Monetary Reward System on Job Performance of the Employees in Automobile Sector with Special Reference to Khivraj Motors”. The primary purpose of this research is to study and understand the effectiveness of monetary reward system, Non-monetary reward system. It also enables us to understand whether monetary reward system or non-monetary reward system drives greater performance amongst employees in their respective organization in Automobile industry. Descriptive research method has been adopted to conduct the study, where sample size taken was 100 of Khivraj Bangalore branches only.
The data collected was a mix of primary and secondary data, where primary data was collected by using one or more appropriate methods such as interview and questionnaire and secondary data from various sources such as, company sites and documents, research papers and other materials were collected from books and internet.
Study had certain limitations, it is believed that an individual‟s values may have been influenced by the social, idiosyncrasy and conventional background such as research inferences from a region based analysis cannot be generalized to rest of the geography. Secondly lack of tool to measure the job performance of employees. The company was not ready to disclose the individual performance of their employees or any measurement tool to evaluate the performance either was another limitation. ANOVA and Coefficient of Correlation is implemented to test the hypothesis. Findings, implication and recommendation based on the analysis are stated.
