Abstract
This project aims to grow plants in a controlled environment agriculture
technology platform that uses robotic systems to control and monitor climate,
energy and plant growth inside a specialized growing chamber. It aims to
enable new farming opportunities in indoor, warehouse-based settings, food
production which can be retooled to accommodate high-density urban living
and maintain food security. There are several sensors placed inside the
environment where all are programmed to monitor the growing conditions for
the crop and fine-tune the light exposure, temperature, humidity, carbondioxide level, water cycle, and nutrient exposure according to a present recipe
for growing the plant can be downloaded by other users around the globe.
Ability to grow plants inside the box is achievable due to gardening practices
such as Aeroponics and Hydroponics
