Abstract
The project titled “A study on factors affecting customer preferences of Thomas Cook India Pvt.
Ltd” is conducted to know about customers preferences and how it’s effective. For the study
primary data collected with the help of questionnaire. The project is trying to know about the
preference of the customers and how it is help the growth of company. Customer preference" is a
marketing term meaning a customer likes one thing over another. It’s becoming increasingly
known through online sources, younger people expect companies to communicate online through
forums and social media. Companies also attempt to listen to consumers' needs through online
sources as well.
This project report divided into five chapters. Chapter one includes the introduction part. It has
talking about the topic of the report and objectives. Chapter two comprises of brief overview
about these industry and profile of Just Books library. The complete profile of the company and
all information regards with Just Books library. Chapter three includes the theoretical
background of the study that include the about marketing promotions and btl activities which are
commonly used It given information about below the line marketing activities in different
situations
. The data analysis is contained in chapter four data are collected from respondents. Collected
data is made in the form of table and analysis that table. And also make diagrams of data and
interpretations included in chapter four. Chapter five includes the findings, suggestions and

market leaders. Successful organization can use customer needs and expectations as a starting
point and developing proposals around their customer's needs and expectations. One of the key
elements of a successful marketing strategy is development of product and promotional stimuli
that consumers will perceive as relevant to their needs. Since the customer is the king of the
market today, the company should analysis the needs and wants of customers.
