| dc.description.abstract | Our nation's backbone is agriculture. Some 70% of India's income comes from agriculture. We propose a model in this project that prevents crop spoilage because of heavy and uneven rainfall. With the Embedded System architecture, this objective is achieved using IOT technology As we are moving into newer and newer technology in the world of automation and engineering almost everything is being automated. We live in a world where everything can be controlled and operated automatically, but there are still a few important sectors in our country where automation has not been adopted or not been put to a full-fledged use, perhaps because of several reasons one such reason is cost. One such field is agriculture which has been one of the primary occupations of man since early civilizations and even today, manual interventions in farming are inevitable. In many rural areas in India there is scarcity of power and water. Due to this problem farmer’s life gets affected as he is not able to provide sufficient water for his crops in the agriculture field. Due to the fluctuations in the power supply the costlier motors and other related equipment’s may get damaged due to the over voltage or under voltages or due to the phase change over . | |
