Abstract
This experimental study deals with utilization of coarse recycled aggregate (CRA)in concrete mixes. The concrete waste is collected from The dump yard and crushed to recover CRA. M40 grade concrete mix is Designed as per IS10262:2009 by considering the properties of Natural coarse aggregate and M-Sand. The M-sand is replaced by CRA at20%,50% and100%.The fresh properties is assessed by conducting slump cone and compaction factor test. The hardened properties such as compressive, tensile and flexural strength test is conducting in the laboratory. Test results indicates, the considerable reduction in workability and strength as the CRA content increases in the concrete mix. Practically, 20% use of CRA in concrete mix is considered as the viable option by strength and Workability properties.
