| dc.description.abstract | In a study conducted early winter last year, it was found that India is considered to be the most depressed country in the world. This conclusion is not as a result of not having sufficient resources in terms of doctors, psychologists and mental health support, rather it is due to ignoring the importance of mental health. The ignorance to something as vital as physical health has led to a steep increase in suicide rates as well. This project aims to do its bit in aiding the ones that require the emotional support, hoping it would make a difference. Buddy++ strives to provide a platform for people to share their problems and seek the help they require without showcasing their identity. This would motivate individuals to talk about their issues without the fear of being judged. | en_US |
