Abstract
Finance is one of the most essential element in any kind of industrial unit or business firm. It is the like blood in human body, it is very essential for smooth running of business, in our present day economy, finance is also defined as the provision of money at the time where it is required. Every enterprise, whether big, medium or small, needs finance to carry on its operations and to achieve its targets. The comparative financial statements are statements of the financial position at different periods of time. The elements of financial position are shown in a comparative form so as to give an idea of financial position at two or more periods. Any statement prepared in a comparative form will be covered in comparative statements. From practical point of view, generally, two financial statements are prepared in comparative form for financial analysis purposes. They are Comparative balance sheet Income statement. Kolte-Patil developers has been creating landmarks for 25 years. The objective of this study is to determine the financial performance of the kolte patil developers by analysing the financial statement of the company and determining their financial status.
