Abstract
The project intense to understand the Performance appraisal process at Indian Telephone
Industries Ltd., Bangalore by looking into the effectiveness of the current Performance
Appraisal method used.
Use of Primary and Secondary sources has been made to answer the research objectives set.
An analysis has been done using the Excel on the data collected and finally suggestions have
been given.
The Performance Appraisal process discusses the detailed structure of how a candidate is
appraised in the organization. It also includes the study of their different methods of
Performance Appraisal and various factors affecting the Performance Appraisal Process.
The project covers how Indian Telephone Industries appraises the candidates for overall
development in the organization. It includes Setting Performance Standards,
Communicating the standards, Measuring and comparing the standards, discussing Results
and taking corrective measures
