| dc.description.abstract | The services sector is a vital component of the Indian economy. The sector, which accounts for around 65 percent of the country Gross Domestic Product(GDP), has emerged as one of the largest and fastest growing sectors not just in the country but in the global landscape, subsequently, its contribution towards global output and employment has been substantial. The share of services in India’s GDP at factor cost rise from 33.33 to 57.5 percent. In India it comprises a wide range of activities, including trading, transportation, communication, financial, real estate and business services and community, social and personal services. | en_US |
