Abstract
This study has been concentrated to identify the financial position of “EXL SERVICE”. This
study made in the light of one of the tool of financial management. The study broadly attempts to
determine the overall financial performance of a company for the last few years. Since finance is
an important parameter of every business concern to determine the growth and profitability, the
study of the topic sounds momentous.
Methods of analysis include the financial Statement analysis that is comparative balance sheet
and common size balance sheet and trend, horizontal and vertical analyses as well as ratios such
as Debt, Current and Quick ratios. Other calculations include current assets turnover and fixed
assets turnover ratios. Results of this data analysed show all ratios are below industry averages.
In particular, comparative performance is poor in the areas of profit management.
