Abstract
The project presents a simple idea of an automatic glass cleaning system that can reduce the
wastage of water during the process of cleaning. This system would take the used glasses
inside, clean them and stack them. The entire process is controlled by PLC. When a glass is
kept on a conveyor belt, this is sensed by a sensor (say proximity sensor – inductive type)
and the conveyor starts moving. The glass reaches a section where it is washed. One after the
other all the glasses go through the process of washing and each glass is stacked below the
conveyor.
